Help shape the future of specialist CAMHS services
We are creating a new Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) to help put the voices of young people, families, and carers at the very heart if how our specialised mental health services in Tier 4 are designed and developed.
You might want to share ideas, influence change or ensure that support from the service truly reflects what people really need, meaning your perspective and experience helps make a real difference.
To get involved, email Zoe at tvpcinvolvement@oxfordhealth.nhs.uk or speak to a member of staff in the unit.
What you’ll gain by getting involved
As part of the group, you’ll help shape projects, training, and key service decisions. By sharing what matters most from your own lived experience, you’ll support improvements in safety, recovery, and the wider care journey for other young people who are being supported with their mental health.
It’s also your chance to:
- Build confidence
Develop teamwork and communication skills
Strengthen your CV or future applications
Participation is paid, and no previous experience is necessary. Simply bring along your insight and enthusiasm to share with the group.
Who can join?
We are particularly interested in hearing from young people who have recently accessed one of our Tier 4 CAMHS services, including those connected to:
- Marlborough House
- Phoenix Unit
- Meadow PICU
- Highfield Unit
- Hospital at Home
Families and carers of young people who have accessed these services are also welcome to get involved.
